This 12.6m tall industrial facility for Liebherr Australia is situated in the Newman, WA. Griffiths Engineers provided for Leibherr an economical structural steel, panel and slab designs for this 1,500m2 warehouse and two storey office.
The warehouse is intended as storage for Liebherr’s mining equipment. The facility is 12.6m high allowing for 9m high of pallet racking.
The floor slabs consist of sawn and armoured joints.
Griffiths Engineers provided for Leibherr an economical structural design for both structure and slabs.
As the concrete quality in Perth is inconsistent Griffiths Engineers provided specialist mix design to produce a quality mix suitable for placement and end use.
A 250,000L detention tank was designed in order to supply water to the fire hydrant system.
