Project Description
The 33 000m2 building consists of two warehouses connected by the roof but separated by 22m breezeway. The logistics building operates 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, implying that the hardstand sees heavy use and the warehouse flooring is subjected to heavy warehousing loading conditions. Griffiths Engineers Australia was contracted by Prime Constructions for structural engineering services and to design the steel structure, precast concrete wall panels, foundations, internal warehouse flooring, an external hardstand.
