This 19.1m tall high-bay industrial facility for Liebherr Australia is situated in the cyclonic wind region of Redcliffe, WA. Griffiths Engineers provided for Leibherr an economical structural design and slab design which has achieved the flattest industrial floor in Australia.

The building is a 19.1m tall high-bay industrial facility for Liebherr Australia in Redcliffe, WA and is used for Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) high reach Linde wire guided forklifts. The warehouse is 5,000m2 with 13 VNA approximately 45m long.

Griffiths Engineers provided for Leibherr an economical structural design for both structure and slabs which have achieved the flattest industrial floor in Australia, the floors having achieved super flat floor tolerance of DM1 in accordance with TR34.

As the concrete quality in Perth is inconsistent Griffiths Engineers provided specialist mix design to produce a quality mix suitable for placement and end use.

The wire guided VNA racking system at time of construction, is the highest of its type in the country; equalled by the Griffiths Engineers designed facility for Leibherr in Redcliffe, Western Australia.

Furthermore the pickling tower is over 12m and is presently the tallest in Australia.
